Ocean Logic demonstrates real time 1080p30 H.264 encoding and streaming on Zedboard

Sydney, Australia, Sept. 23, 2014 - Ocean Logic, a provider of multimedia and multimedia encryption cores, has demonstrated its H.264 Encoder IP on the ZedBoard encoding 1080p30 video in real time and streaming it through the board's Ethernet port. Incoming video is captured with an HDMI Avnet extension board and encoded with a latency of 64 video lines only. The ARM CPUs on the Z-7020 Zynq device are not involved in the encoding process.

Availability :
Ocean Logic H.264 encoding IP is available now and it is fully proven in both FPGA and ASIC technology. References are available.
