AUSTIN, Texas — (BUSINESS WIRE) — September 18, 2014 — Silicon Space Technology (SST) announced the appointment of David Patterson as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In addition to developing and executing integrated sales and marketing plans, he will lead business development and product management.
Immediately prior to joining SST, David led the Corporate Strategy Organization at Freescale Semiconductor where he defined the company’s focus on security, product and energy efficiencies, and ease of use, directed the technical analyst team, and nurtured M&A banking relationships. David also held various other leadership positions at Freescale, including serving as Vice President and General Manager of the Multimedia Applications Division and the Cellular Products Division. Prior to joining Freescale, David held leadership positions at Beceem Communications, Qualcomm, LSI Logic and Ericsson. David holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Physics and Mathematics, as well as a Master of Science degree in Physics, from the University of Missouri - Columbia.
