Afinia Label (booth 4224) will demonstrate the L801 and new DLP-2000, solutions ideal for brand owners and label converters seeking short- to mid-run lengths. The target applications are inventory or product identification labels creation at an industry leading total cost of ownership. The L801, powered by Memjet technology, is an industrial web-fed inkjet printer that provides full-color at up to 60 feet per minute and up to 8.5" wide.
Canon USA (booth 613) will showcase the ColorWave 900, which delivers a print resolution of 1600 dpi at speeds of 1,100 square meters per hour. Canon offers a range of branded media to support the productive use of the ColorWave 900 in a wide variety of legacy and new wide format applications.
Formax (booth 2048) will exhibit the ColorMax 7 Digital Color Printer, powered by a Memjet print head to provide 70,400 ink nozzles, full-color CMYK output, at a low running cost. The ColorMax 7 comes in two configurations, designed for either labels or envelopes. It produces up to 16.8 million colors on a variety of paper stocks and sizes, with full-bleed capability on media up to 8.5" wide. It can print 1600 x 1600 dpi at 6 inches per second, and 1600 x 800 dpi at 12 inches per second.
Neopost USA (booth 2602) will show three color solutions powered by Memjet: AS-950c (Mach 5), the Mach 8, and the Mach X. The AS-950c (Mach 5) printer combines exceptional quality at 1600 dpi plus speed to provide the lowest cost per piece. The solution provides the fastest return on investment in its segment for direct mail and transpromotional printing. The Mach 8 is a digital color printer targeting the large work group environment with a robust 60 pages per minute printing in full-color, featuring a 5000-sheet capacity. The Mach X is a digital color label printer that provides output in dazzling full color at 1600 dpi and supports up to 9" labels.
Printware LLC (booth 1949) will demonstrate its iJetColor Press, a complete digital color printing solution bundled with an industry standard Xitron Navigator Harlequin RIP and workflow and an iJetColor ink pack capable of printing thousands of 4-color jobs. The iJetColor Press produces low cost, personalized printed images in print volume as low as one unit, touting a print speed three times that of competitive toner devices at roughly one-third the consumables cost of traditional toner devices, all which provides users an extremely competitive total cost of ownership.
RTI Digital (booth 4043) will showcase two Vortex 4200 printers, each featuring five Memjet printheads spanning 42" that support 1600 dpi printing at 12 inches per second. Erik Norman, President of RTI-Digital will also present "New Revenues & Profits with Memjet -- Case Study Highlights" in the ISA Wide Format Innovation Theater on September 30 at 2:30 pm CDT.
Xante (booth 431) will show the Excelagraphix 4200 printing at one-foot-per-second on corrugated, RSCs and die-cut sheets to provide box and product manufacturers the ability to turn short-runs faster and more cost-effectively than more costly analog presses.
