New! 40cm Satellite Imagery Now Available through East View Geospatial!

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - July 22, 2014East View Geospatial, the leading provider of Geospatial data and GIS production services enthusiastically announces the availability of 40 cm Core Imagery products from DigitalGlobe.  New government permissions allow DigitalGlobe to deliver their Standard and Advanced Ortho series products and set new standards for digital imagery.

40 cm archive imagery is available globally now. You can order a 40 cm product including imagery collected at any Ground Sample Distance (GSD) from GeoEye-1, WorldView-1, and WorldView-2, but not from IKONOS or QuickBird.  The DigitalGlobe recommendation is not to resample imagery with a GSD greater than 49.9 cm to 40 cm, but it is allowed.

New Collection Availability:

For this introductory period, 40 cm new collections are only as multi-satellite orders including GeoEye-1 and WorldView-2 and only available for these countries:

  • Algeria
  • Antarctica
  • Australia
  • Chad
  • Greenland
  • Libya
  • Mali
  • Mauritania
  • Morocco
  • New Zealand
  • Niger
  • South Africa
  • Tunisia
  • Western Sahara

New collections will be available globally beginning in Q4 2014.

Delivery Timelines:

Most 40 cm product orders should fit the stated product delivery timelines, but longer timelines are possible due to the capacity required to process these larger files. We are not guaranteeing standard delivery timelines.  Our East View Specialists will work with customers directly to communicate any delays in product delivery.
