Pixelworks Demonstrates Latest VueMagic™ Mate Solution for Connected Collaborative Displays

New solution enables multiple devices to connect to any display for collaborative meetings, conferences and classrooms

SAN JOSE, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — June 17, 2014 — Pixelworks, Inc. (NASDAQ: PXLW), an innovative provider of video display processing technology, today announced that its latest innovations for connected displays and the projector market will be on display at InfoComm 2014. The company plans to demo its latest VueMagic™ hardware and software solutions that transform how presenters engage with their audience and increase collaborative sharing of information in business and educational environments.

The company will be demonstrating VueMagic™ Mate, a small dongle that transforms any display into a connected collaborative environment. Using the VueMagic™ app, multiple users can project information on a shared display, highlight key points or add additional information. VueMagic™ works over WiFi on smartphones, tablets, PCs and ultrabooks. It is operating system agnostic and allows both remote and local users to collaborate together.

“In today’s fast paced society it is essential to be able to quickly share ideas and collaborate effectively. The widespread use of mobile devices has enabled fast and easy access to information, but it also needs to be easily shared in order to be effective. Our VueMagic™ solution gives presenters and audiences the ability to unleash that power and interactively engage as a team,” said Graham Loveridge, Sr. Vice President of Marketing at Pixelworks. “When the whole team is actively engaged, problems get solved faster, meetings become more effective and students absorb material with a higher level of understanding.”
