Rock the Earth Cell Phone and Tablet Recycling Campaign 2014
Now in its sixth year, Rock the Earth continues its cell phone and tablet recycling campaign, which kicked off on Memorial Day weekend at Summer Camp in Chillicothe, Ill., Del Fest in Cumberland, Md. and MeadowGrass in Colorado Springs, Colo., and will continue over the next two weekends at Mountain Jam in Hunter, N.Y., Wakarusa in Ozark, Ark., and Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tenn.

Festivalgoers are encouraged to bring old mobile phones and tablets to Rock the Earth's festival booth, and meet our volunteer staff members to learn more about Rock the Earth environmental issues the organization is working on.

If you are not attending these festivals, Peach Festival, Floyd Fest and High Sierra will also be hosting Rock the Earth cell phone drives this summer. Everyone who participates receives free goodies, such as a 20 percent discount from the LiveNation Store (not good on concert tickets) and other items courtesy of Rock the Earth and the festivals.

In addition, each phone redeemed is worth one entry in a daily drawing for prizes, such as CDs, DVDs, T-shirts, free music downloads from Live Downloads, 2015 summer festival passes and more. Old cell phones and tablets can also be recycled with free shipping available through Rock the Earth's mobile device return program at www.rtephonedrive.com.

Summer Tour
Additionally, for its 11th summer in a row, Rock the Earth will be out on the road for its annual Education and Outreach Summer Tour. It will be conducting summer environmental education, outreach and citizen activation at shows by Dave Matthews Band, Ray LaMontagne, Kings of Leon, Michael Franti & Spearhead, and Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers.
