Excellicon Products Used by Entropic to Develop a Robust, Efficient Timing Constraint Development Methodology

AUSTIN, Texas, April 8, 2014 – Excellicon Inc., an innovative provider of Timing Constraints Analysis and Debugging solutions for the automation of constraints authoring, completion, validation, and Management, today announced Entropic (Nasdaq: ENTR), a world leader in semiconductor solutions for the connected home, has licensed Excellicon Constraints products to speed delivery schedules in Entropic’s build flow.

The use of Excellicon products focus on reducing multiple iterations between design and implementation teams resolving design timing closure issues, in which the timing constraints (SDC) design and validation are often culprit in prolonged delivery schedules. By using the Excellicon tools, Entropic can automate its timing constraints used for placement and routing of their chip solutions as well as eliminate unnecessary design cycles in order to achieve higher levels of accuracy and efficiency in delivery schedules.
