Carlsbad, CA, – March 31, 2014 – TC Technology announces CenterPoint Energy expands use of their ELA to include more comprehensive field data collection efforts required to support the imminent implementation of their advanced distribution management system.

CenterPoint Energy’s electric delivery company is using the MIMS Field offering GO! Sync to collect additional information as a result of research areas identified during a two-year phasing data capture project that also used TC Technology’s ELA.  For this current project, field resources create sketches using mobile GIS software tailored to efficiently record phase data, connectivity, and other information about electric network assets.  Major benefits include automating workflow and improving the completeness and accuracy of GIS for use in mission critical business systems.
