MoSys to Demonstrate 100G PHY Technology for Data Path Applications and 14 Gbps High-Density Serial Memory Interface at OFC 2014

The company will demonstrate the MoSys® Bandwidth Engine® discrete component operating at an industry leading 14+ Gigabits per second using the highly-efficient GigaChip™ Interface to a Xilinx® FPGA over 10 inches of trace and a mezzanine connector showcasing the ability to eliminate memory access and bandwidth bottlenecks in high-performance networking systems.

 

A second demonstration will showcase the 100G data path capability of MoSys’ LineSpeed™ 100G PHY solutions performing full-duplex 4x25G traffic over a mezzanine connector system from Hirose. LineSpeed CMOS PHY solutions support a broad range of data rates and insertion loss for flexible support of high-density 10G, 40G and 100G OTN and Ethernet applications in networking, communications, and compute line cards, including backplanes, mezzanine connectors, copper cables and optical modules.

 

MoSys’ LineSpeed 100G Multi-Mode Gearbox and evaluation board will also be on display at the Optical Internetworking Forum’s OIF Showcase at booth #2309.
