FAIRFAX, Va., January 21, 2014 --( BUSINESS WIRE)-- SRA International, Inc., a leading provider of IT solutions and professional services to government organizations, announced it was selected for a position on the Tools and Continuous Monitoring as a Service (CMaaS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) awarded by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for the Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program (CDM). The multiple-award BPA has a $6 billion ceiling.
In response to an escalating number of cyber threats, government agencies are under immense pressure to improve cyber security. The CDM program enables civilian agencies to partner with DHS to gain access to continuous diagnostics, remediation tools and security dashboards that streamline cyber security processes and reduce cyber security risks.
SRA will compete for task orders to support CDM’s mission to fortify the cyber security of computer networks and systems by delivering innovative solutions designed to enhance and automate the existing continuous network monitoring capabilities, correlate and analyze critical security-related information and enhance risk-based decision making at the agency and federal enterprise level.
SRA will team with the following companies to deliver first-class products and services under the BPA: Compass Federal Consulting, Grayscout, Halfaker & Associates, Intercom Consulting & Federal Systems, Kingfisher Systems, MBL Technologies, The RSR Company, VariQ, TripWire, Symantec, IBM, McAfee, Application Security, Qualys, Hewlett Packard, ForeScout Technologies, Bit9, REDSEAL, and FireMon.
George Batsakis, Executive Vice President of SRA’s National Security Group commented, “We are pleased to be part of the CDM mission, and we will bring the full breadth of SRA’s capabilities to bear in order to ensure the security of America’s cyber infrastructure.”
