hyperMILL provides high value solutions for 2.5 axis through 5-axis milling and drilling and mill-turn, as well as a series of specialty 5-axis machining kits. The solution also contains common utilities such as tool database, macro programming database, simulation and postprocessors for all product ranges. The utilities allow users to capture corporate knowledge, allow procedures to be automated, and to obtain consistent results from a set of programmers within a company. Strong product feedback during calculation gives the user meaningful information about processing in some cases before calculations are completed, and certainly before bringing programs to the shop floor.
At SolidWorks World, OPEN MIND has also been selected to make a customer case-study presentation in the Certified Partner Theater on January 26 at 6:45 PM. Account Manager Kevin Lewis will present the development and growth of our customer Dynamic Air Engineering (Santa Ana CA) in part due to selection of hyperMILL for SolidWorks. A large machined inducer impeller from end-user Duonetics Inc. of Corona CA will also be on display in the booth.
