Analog Devices India to conduct Live Webinar on Computer Vision Solutions

Webinar to provide insights into applications, processors and software solutions for next-gen Industrial  vision systems

Bangalore, India, December 9, 2013: Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI), a global leader in high-performance semiconductors for signal processing applications, will conduct a live webinar session (details enclosed below) on industrial applications critical for Computer Vision Solutions, that enable products to “see” and respond intelligently by accelerating image detection and analysis with camera input or within the camera.

These Embedded Vision Systems are applicable in wide range of products and the webinar will focus on some common industrial applications that need computer vision techniques like Occupancy Sensing for energy saving, Face Detection as a precursor to  face recognition used for retail advertisements and video surveillance and defect detection and sorting on the factory assembly floor.

The webinar will deep dive into the salient features of dual core DSP processor ADSP-BF609 that includes a pipelined video pre-processor to run applications for Computer Vision systems. The participants will be provided a comprehensive insight into the tried and tested approach for building software on the ADSP-BF609 and an in-depth perspective on five imaging tool boxes developed by Analog Devices for faster delivery of customised computer vision applications to the market.
