October 28, 2013 -- GIS College is thrilled to announce the launch of their first remote sensing course – Remote Sensing: Introduction for GIS Analysts. This basic course, delivered by experts in the field, offers students an overview of the fundamentals of remote sensing technology – data pre-processing, interpretation and manipulation, and feature extraction techniques.

Remote sensing, an exciting and cutting edge area of geospatial technology, has many applications such as land use and vegetation mapping, change detection and analysis, and automatic feature extraction.

GIS College are in the process of developing further remote sensing courses for more experienced users, or those who complete the basic course, so keep checking the GIS College website for updates on these!
