Pittsburgh, PA, October 24, 2013 – In early September, Aero-Metric, A Quantum Spatial company (AeroMetric) was awarded an On-Call Consultancy Services contract with the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission (SPC).

 

SPC anticipates the need for a wide range of “on-call” consultant support services consistent with the varying responsibilities of Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPO), Local Development Districts (LDD), and Economic Development Districts (EDD).

 

Through the On-Call Consultancy Services contract, the SPC can issueAeroMetric task orders for Geospatial Information System (GIS), Data Collection, Database Management, and Data Analysis services when the need arises for a quick-response of these services within the SPC’s overall Work Plan.

 

The contract qualifies AeroMetric to perform on-call GIS data services for SPCin the City of Pittsburgh and the counties of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, Washington, and Westmoreland.

 

The possible GIS and Data related services AeroMetric has been qualified to perform under the contract include: database analysis, the design and development of new databases and applications, development of custom GISapplications, interfaces, and tools, video imagery support services, GPS and Field Data Collection, GIS Web applications and programming, and providing technical support and customization of GIS software.
