Design a Poster for the BEST4 Conference

Poster Abstracts Due December 10

The National Institute of Building Sciences is now accepting abstracts of potential posters for presentation at the Building Enclosure Science and Technology Conference (BEST4), April 12-15, 2015, in Kansas City, Mo.

Hosted by the Institute’s Building Enclosure Technology and Environment Council (BETEC) and the Building Enclosure Council of Kansas City (BEC-Kansas City), the Conference will tackle performance of the building enclosure in the context of whole building performance. BEST4 will enhance participants’ understanding of challenging design issues and provide a forum for peer-to-peer discussion.

During BEST4, recognition will be given to four selected BEST4 poster designs. The poster session is open to all BEST4 participants, as well as university students.

  • Next Generation of Integrated Building Enclosures
  • Living Building Challenge
  • Evolving Techniques for Construction
  • Commissioning and Quality Management in Design and Practice
  • Design of the Construction Details

  • Advances in Renovation and Repair Techniques
  • Reflective Technology and Insulation Materials
  • Topics in Fire Protection
  • Review of Hygrothermal Issues
  • Multi-Unit Residential Buildings Management and Retrofits
