PLE Requirements and Restrictions:
The Plant Factory Personal Learning Edition is available in English for Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8, and on Mac OSX 10.5+ (Mac Intel only) for both 32 and 64 bit.
The Plant Factory Personal Learning Edition is for personal, non-commercial use only, tpf files cannot be exchanged with other TPF (full or PLE) users, renders carry a logo and will be watermarked after 30 days, stills render are limited to 1920x1080 maximum and animations to 1280x720 maximum, 1 polygon out of 5 is removed from exported geometry and the PLE ships with a limited subset of the total content available in the commercial product.
Plant Factory Studio, Designer and Artist Trial Versions
The Plant Factory Trial lets users test the exact capabilities of the different versions of Plant Factory ( Studio, Designer, and Artist) so that they can decide which one best fits their needs. The Trial contains all 3 versions (selection of Studio, Designer or Artist is done during installation).
The Plant Factory Trial Version is fully functional, aside from the following limitations:
- Saving is disabled,
- Renders carry a logo,
- Render stills up to 1920x1080 and animations up to 1280x720,
- 1 polygon out of 5 is removed from exported geometry (export feature available in Studio and Designer only),
- The trial version ships with a limited content selection.
The Trial Version cannot be used for commercial work. Once registered, the Trial Version will work for 30 days.
