FIDIA CNC control displaying MachineWorks Simulation at EMO

MachineWorks will be showing full machine simulation with advanced graphics on the FIDIA C40 VISION CNC control at their EMO stand J25 in hall 25.

The FIDIA C40 VISION is a powerful numerical control for advanced CNC high speed milling and multi-axis applications especially for aerospace and automotive industry.

Inside the C40 Vision lies the ViMill® system that allows the machine operator to inspect possFIDIA C40 VISIONible collisions in the full machine envelope.

The machinist is able to check any unexpected movements  between the tool, the head and the machine with the work piece during the actual machining process.

MachineWorks simulation and verification engines power both the graphic visualisation of tool path and the clash detection before and during the machining.

Some machine movements that go undetected with conventional off-line methods so even parts that have been given the green light by off-line verification solutions can present problems.

By using ViMill®, the operator can easily recreate the axes movements before the start of the machining, verify the programme, avoid mistakes, spot undesired movements and visualise the job whilst it's taking place.

MachineWorks and FIDIA have been working together since 2009.

About MachineWorks Ltd
MachineWorks Software sets the standard for CNC simulation and verification component software in the industry. More than 60% of CAM developers in the world have integrated MachineWorks technology into their applications and benefited from MachineWorks’ cutting-edge functionality over the last 20 years. MachineWorks’ toolkit has been integrated by software and hardware OEMs looking for a solution in simulation of material removal and clash and gouge detection of any type of CNC machining. MachineWorks’ core technology combines speed, accuracy and stability. It is ideally suited for anti-crash systems, complex machining and full machine simulation.
