New Training Videos Provide Immediate Access to Trimble Positions & Esri Training

Sedona, AZ, August 19, 2013:  GeoMattix is pleased to announce a new GIS training video bundle.  The GeoCollector Bundle #2 contains two courses: 1) GPS Mapping with ArcGIS for Windows Mobile; and, 2) GPS Mapping with Trimble Positions and ArcGIS for Windows Mobile. The bundle provides complete training for using Esri’s ArcGIS for Windows Mobile - for both the desktop and server workflows. 

When using the software on a Trimble GPS unit, The Trimble Positions software adds the power to post-process the field data for high accuracy.  The videos are suitable for:

• Trimble ArcGIS for Windows Mobile users who need high accuracy GNSS data
• Anyone wanting to use Esri’s ArcGIS for Windows Mobile software for field data collection
• Esri GeoCollector users

ArcGIS for Windows Mobile is Esri’s server-integrated mobile GIS program.  When used on a Trimble GPS receiver, ArcGIS for Windows Mobile users can use Trimble Positions to add post-processing functionality to their workflow.  Post-processing uses differential correction to enhance the accuracy of the field data.  Trimble Positions adds post-processing functionality to Esri’s mobile field software.
