July 23, 2013 -- The JMT Technology Group, a progressive geospatial and information technology services provider, has been selected by the Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) for two new IT contracts!
On the first contract, JMT Technology Group will provide project management, systems engineering and administration services, and applications development support for the Data Services Engineering Division (DSED). Under this contract, team members will manage and support existing applications such as the Traffic Monitoring System (TMS), Highway Management Information System (HMIS) and the Office of Planning & Preliminary Engineering’s SharePoint implementation used by engineers, planners and consultants throughout the organization. JMT will also assist DSED to streamline business processes, infuse geospatial technology into their business operations, and provide end user support for DSED’s evolving business and IT needs.
The second contract will include application development, GIS and CADD support services for the Office of Highway Development (OHD). With our partner, ECO Integration, JMT will support the re-engineering and enhancements of applications for OHD divisions, as well as ProjectWise support and CADD standards development services.
“It has been a pleasure working with the Maryland State Highway Administration over the last several years, and we are excited to continue this valued relationship,” said Jeanne Ruthloff, Vice President of JMT Technology Group.
These services are being provided through the State of Maryland Department of Information Technology’s Master Contract, known as CATS II. JMT has been a CATS II Master Contractor since 2009 and was recently selected to continue as a Master Contractor under the new CATS+ contract for the next 15 years.
