Autodesk's Stock Fell Sharply on Friday

Autodesk Inc.'s stock fell sharply on Friday as the technology sector struggled. The company's shares ended the day 1.02% lower at $36.49 after oscillating between $36.34 and $36.87. A total of 2.56 million shares were traded, which is slightly below the daily average volume of 2.61 million. Despite Friday's sharp decline, the stock gained 1.35% last week, thus outperforming the S&P 500. Autodesk's shares have outperformed the S&P 500 in the last one month as well, gaining 6.68%.
