Balaji, presented a case study titled “How Tata Technologies Re-vamped its Business Processes with an SAP ERP HCM Implementation” at HR2013 in Amsterdam 11-13 June.
HR2013 is an annual event, and a collaboration of SAP and SAPinsider, that brings together experts from SAP, independent consultants and customers to provide a 360-degree perspective on SAP HR technology. The 2013 event features 110 technical sessions including comprehensive workshops, lectures, panel discussions, interactive roundtables and customer case studies demonstrating best practices and innovative methodologies.
V. Balaji presented the Tata Technologies case study on Tuesday, 11 June. The paper provides a detailed look at how Tata Technologies embarked on an SAP ERP HCM deployment that focused on improving key processes critical to its growth strategy by using employee self-service functionality and SAP Travel Management. Attendees learned how the company:
- Standardized and automated more than 90 key processes, including employee self-service (ESS), SAP Travel Management, procurement, and eRecruiting across three territories, nine countries, involving more than 6,000 employees
- Deployed travel, claims, and expense management in ESS for domestic, international, and local travel
- Successfully completed its large-scale deployment across many cultures and countries
