Nexonia announces integration between its Expense Reports solution and Google Maps for better mileage reporting.
May 29, 2013 -- Thanks to this seamless integration, when creating a mileage line within an expense report Nexonia users will have a map automatically generated. The distance and mileage rate are also provided automatically. Map generation is available on both web and mobile applications (iOS, Android and BlackBerry 10) and the employee can also edit the distance calculated by Google. Nexonia supports optional odometer tracking, built right into their web and mobile apps.
For Nexonia users this integration means not only the creation of a visualized record of their trip, but it includes the ability to recall saved route information for use on future trips and the elimination of errors while counting miles and calculating mileage rates. For administrators and finance professionals, this enhancement means comprehensive information about each trip, correct mileage amounts, policy compliance and ability to see the map attached to the right line item whenever they want.
“Google Maps integration for reporting mileage expenses was one of those features we wanted to do right, and we’re happy we’ve got it done so simply and so elegantly.” - says Neil Wainwright, CEO of Nexonia. - “It’s easy to set up for any mileage rate worldwide, and for the employee it’s just a breeze to use.”
