TerraGo Launches New Location Intelligence Platform and Branding at Esri Federal GIS Conference 2013

Enterprise software delivers actionable intelligence for analysts, decision makers and edge users

Washington, DC (PRWEB) February 25, 2013 --  TerraGo announced today its new Location Intelligence Platform at the Esri Federal GIS Conference in Washington, DC. The TerraGo® platform is an enterprise-level software solution that combines open-source intelligence gathering with geospatial collaboration, enabling organizations to discover location intelligence from any source, integrate geospatial intelligence and deliver situational awareness to anyone, anywhere, in online and bandwidth-restricted environments.

In addition to showcasing the TerraGo Location Intelligence Platform, TerraGo unveiled new company branding, logo and imagery, which unifies and reflects the fusion of the company’s innovative discovery, integration and collaboration capabilities.

“The TerraGo Platform transforms our customers’ ability to sift through Big Data in a geographic context and build actionable location intelligence they can seamlessly share with their users on the edge,” said Rick Cobb, TerraGo President and CEO. “Today’s launch, reinforced with the new TerraGo branding, marks a new chapter for our company and brings tremendous value to our customers’ geospatial technology and intelligence operations.”

The TerraGo Platform helps organizations automate the process of monitoring, discovering and geospatially visualizing relevant unstructured information from any source with  TerraGo GeoXrayTM, which mines and processes content from news feeds, blog posts and social media. TerraGo’s geospatial collaboration software helps users produce, access, update and share that location intelligence using TerraGo’s family of innovative GeoPDF® technologies, including TerraGo Publisher®, TerraGo Composer®, TerraGo Toolbar® and TerraGo Mobile®.

“The TerraGo Platform brings together means to monitor sources of data and information, from social media on the Web to internal geospatial data and imagery and provides capabilities to integrate these into interactive geospatial applications configured to mission-specific purposes,” said George Demmy, TerraGo Chief Technology Officer. “Importantly, the platform supports the delivery of these easy-to-use applications to users in collaborative workflows in a variety of environments.”

TerraGo has a large network of partners, including leading systems integrators and software providers and serves more than 1000 global customers, including thought-leaders in defense and intelligence, crisis response, transportation and natural resources.
