Oxford, England. February 13, 2013
The PLM Interest Group announces the publication of the Version 3.0
PLMuERP Handbook.
The Handbook formalises the results of the recent PLMuERP Workshop Series in the UK, North America and Germany into a 71-page structured methodology.
As well as developing new theory (see
MCADCafe 16 January) the Handbook defines a new approach that can be defined as PLMuERP - the 'Union' of PLM and ERP into an enterprise-wide driver for the business.
In parallel with the Handbook, the PLMIG has also published:-
- the PLMuERP Primer, as a management-level introduction to the subject; and,
- the Data Management Manual, as technical guidance for the PLMuERP Team.
