Mazor Robotics Receives First Renaissance System Order from Transmedic Pte Ltd, Southeast Asian Distributor

CAESAREA, Israel — (BUSINESS WIRE) — October 23, 2012 — Mazor Robotics Ltd. (TASE: MZOR), a developer of innovative surgical robots and complementary products, today announced it received its first Renaissance™ system order from Transmedic Pte Ltd, a leading specialty partner of healthcare institutions and professionals in Southeast Asia. The system purchased will be placed in Viet Duc Hospital in Hanoi, Vietnam.

A public hospital with 1000 beds, Viet Duc Hospital is the largest surgical health care center in Vietnam. The hospital specializes in complicated surgeries and diagnoses and the treatment of difficult diseases.

Founded in 1980, Transmedic distributes and promotes the latest medical technologies to the countries of Southeast Asia – Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Brunei, Vietnam and the Philippines.
