October 08, 2012 -- Spatial Insights is pleased to announce the availabilty of the AGS Estimates & Projections 2012/2017 demographic data for the US. Newly updated with current year estimates and 5- and 10-year projections, the extensive database developed and maintained by Applied Geographic Solutions (AGS) boasts thousands of demographic attributes for both census and postal geographic areas.
The Estimates and Projections database covers five broad topic areas: population, households, income (including “buying power” or disposable income), labor force, and dwellings. Besides these high quality population statistics, Spatial Insights also offers updated Consumer Expenditures and Behavior, BusinessCounts, Retail Potential, Lifestyle Segmentation, Crime, and Climate and Air Quality databases. Census data from 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000, and 2010 are also available.
