GstarCAD MC PRO Officially Released, Directly Transmit and Convert Drawings between Mobile Devices

September 26, 2012 - Nowadays, information technology has been involved in every aspect of engineering management, from estimation to design; engineers could work more efficiently with no paper. However, for those who are at construction sites or on business trips, working is still inconvenient. So the mobile applications are becoming more and more important.

As the leading developer of CAD platform in China, Suzhou Gstarsoft Co., Ltd , (named as GstarCAD below) released the mobile CAD software –- GstarCAD Mobile Client. From IOS to Android, GstarCAD never stops improving their products. And now, according to users’ feedbacks, GstarCAD refines and adjusts the products’ functions in time. In this September, GstarCAD MC PRO was released. This new product removed the obstacles to conversion and transmission of drawings on mobile devices. Thus mobile CAD software is becoming more convenient.

To all of GstarCAD MC users, converting .ocf files is the biggest problem. GstarCAD MC PRO can read and save .dwg files directly; users never need to convert the .dwg file to an .ocf file by GstarCAD Windows Edition. All that they need to do is connecting iPad\iPhone\iTouch to a PC and upload the drawings to GstarCAD MC Pro. Then the .dwg drawings will be easily browsed by users anywhere and anytime.

Besides, the function of downloading the attachments from E-mails, network disks and web pages has been added to GstarCAD MC PRO, which enriched the transmission system of drawings between mobile devices and broke the limitation of drawings’ transmission. The files in need can be opened up anywhere and anytime, making it more convenient and safer. To transmit a drawing via iTunes, users just need to connect an IOS device to a PC with a USB cable, open iTunes and switch the page of the device, choose the application in the menu, find GstarCAD MC PRO in file sharing section and click “Add” button. Then, the drawings will be added into local drawing page system. Besides, according to this update, users can send the drawings to their E-mail boxes or network disks, then download the files to GstarCAD MC PRO to browse and edit. There’s no need to copy drawings to iPhone/iPads via USB cable. The transmission is becoming more convenient and easier. Users also can send the drawings which are edited and annotated by GstarCAD MC PRO as attachment to share with others.

This update aims at giving users’ a better experience of GstarCAD MC. At the same time, GstarCAD will keep improving the functions of products. In the future, GstarCAD will not only occupy the market of mobile application, the cloud computing and cooperative office markets are also the objectives of GstarCAD. The engineers of GstarCAD will work harder to provide users a better access mode, support and expansibility as well as a more excellent CAD platform.
