SANTA ANA, CA--(Business Wire – August 30th, 2012)MSC Software Corporation, the leader in multidiscipline simulation solutions that accelerate product innovation, today announced that P/A Engineering, a UK based engineering consulting company, has selected MSC Nastran and Patran to simulate complex composite components for the aerospace industry.

P/A Engineering has an extensive background in structural analysis of large aircraft. Working with OEMs, their suppliers and Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) holders, P/A Engineering offers a broad range of design and analysis services.

“With MSC Software’s Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software, we can speed up the analysis process,” says Jeff Woolmer, Director of P/A Engineering. “The technology also enables us to perform structural analysis for particular customer projects that we could not have otherwise addressed without MSC solutions. MSC Nastran and Patran enable us to offer a broader range of analysis solutions.”

Mr. Woolmer adds: “It was important for us to work with an industry standard and trusted solution. MSC´s customer support has been very good and timely, which built customer confidence.
