KISTERS releases 3DViewStation V11.2  including neighborhood search

Aachen, 2011/07/15: KISTERS has announced the release 11.2 of the 3DViewStation. The KISTERS 3DViewStation is known for the modern user-interface, high performance 3D-viewing, current and mature
CAD-importers plus a reasonable set of functional tools to view, analyze and communicate 3D-data.

Enhancements of the V11.2 include a new  neighborhood search function, which helps to find parts, which are close to a selected one. Especially users of complex assemblies had asked for it. New in 3DViewStation
V11.2 is a simple thickness analysis via a single click on a part. Finally the direct and fast conversion of any importable fileformat into any exportable file-format including STEP, Parasolid, 3D-PDF has been added as well as the views-management to store different states of an assembly.

The new features of the KISTERS 3DViewStation are available in the Desktop version as well as in the ActiveX integration component.

Many customers appreciate the  extremely short load-times of the KISTERS 3DViewStation. As an example, on an average notebook a 600 Megabyte Pro/Engineer assembly will load in only 3 seconds using the internal file-format and will load in only 1.5 minutes reading the native file-format. This can be reviewed in a YouTube movie. But besides performance it is important to continuously keep the CAD-importers current. The KISTERS 3DViewStation proofs this i.e. by supporting Catia V6, Creo 2.0, NX 8, JT 9.5 and STEP AP 242, just to name a few. Besides standard view and analysis functions like measurements and sections the 3DViewStation provides a compare feature and exports, i.e. into STEP and 3D-PDF (both U3D and PRC-flavours).

The KISTERS 3DViewStation V11 is beeing developed very close to customer requirements, available as Desktop and ActiveX product-version, 32-bit and 64-bit, shipping with a modern and intuitive Office 2010 complient user-interface. There are seat and floating licenses available.
