Released Today, the PDF Markup App Enables Professionals to Share Project Comments and Collaborate from Anywhere, Anytime
PASADENA, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — July 10, 2012 — Today Bluebeam Software, leading developer of PDF-based solutions for digitizing workflows in the design and construction industry, is launching Bluebeam Revu iPad. Now available in the App Store, Revu iPad enables business professionals in all industries to work without limits by digitally accessing and redlining PDFs on the go, from anywhere.
From high atop the 32nd floor of a building that is under construction, in the middle of a courtroom trial or standing on an oil platform in Arctic waters, Revu iPad offers a solution for commenting on PDFs and collaborating in real time. iPad users can redline PDFs with customizable markups – including photos taken with the built-in iPad camera, save custom markups in the exclusive Tool Chest™ for future reuse, track comments in the integrated Markups list, collaborate with others in the cloud using the included Bluebeam Studio™ feature or retrieve and sync files through Dropbox, Box and WebDAV.
To celebrate Revu iPad’s ability to let professionals work digitally from anywhere, Bluebeam is launching The Most eXtreme Place You've Revu'd photo contest. The online contest asks participants to share photos of the most exciting or unusual places they have used Revu iPad.
“We know that Bluebeam users like to push the limits and make things happen, from anywhere, at any time,” said Stephani Haynes, Vice President of Global Marketing at Bluebeam Software. “This contest will drive visual examples of how Revu iPad equips professionals with the solution they need to work without limits.”
To enter the photo contest, contestants should visit the contest microsite, fill out the contact information form and upload one photo that demonstrates an extreme place they have used Revu iPad. Three contestants will be selected and win airfare and accommodations to Seattle to attend the Bluebeam IRC 2012 Conference, taking place Friday, September 7th at the Salish Lodge & Spa in Snoqualmie, Washington. The contest is open now through July 20 at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time.
Revu iPad is available on Apple’s App Store for $9.99.
