Telvent Announces Updated Version of ArcFM Solution

June 11, 2012 -- Telvent GIT, S.A., a leading real-time IT solutions and information provider for a sustainable world, announced today that the latest version of one of its top smart grid solutions, ArcFM Solution 10.1, will be released on August 10, 2012.

ArcFM 10.1 is an extension of Esri’s ArcGIS 10.1 platform, developed with the goals of increasing customer satisfaction, enabling the latest technology from Esri and growing the value and consumption of geospatial data across utility organizations worldwide. Telvent combines the cloud, web and mobile capabilities of ArcGIS 10.1 with valuable user feedback to allow utilities and telecoms to use geospatial data in exciting new ways.

Telvent’s ArcFM enterprise GIS offers a configurable facilities data management platform specific to the needs of today’s utility and telecommunications providers. It provides uniform information at the enterprise level that is necessary to achieve the full benefit of the many systems that drive business. The improvements in Web, server and mobile set the stage for the next generation of GIS...ArcFM Everywhere.

ArcFM Solution 10.1 is just one component of the Telvent Smart Grid Solutions Suite, a comprehensive and robust toolset that helps utilities efficiently plan, design and reliably operate the modern power grid.

See ArcFM Solution 10.1 in action at the Telvent booth #2201 at the Esri International User Conference, July 23-27 in San Diego, Calif.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding this or any other Telvent smart grid technology. I would be happy to arrange an interview with a representative that could provide additional information.
