April 25, 2012 - OPEN MIND Technologies USA, Inc. will present hyperMILL® at the DMG Mori Seiki USA, Inc. Innovation Days on May 8-10 in Hoffman Estates IL. Visitors will be able to meet with OPEN MIND staff and view cutting demonstrations driven by hyperMILL software.
Recent product enhancements include novel techniques for aerospace components including mill-turn and high performance, multi-axis roughing using hyperMAXX®, based on the Celeritive Volumill™ kernel.
OPEN MIND is a partner with DMG Mori Seiki and in recent years has supported many key and challenging turnkey projects and demonstrations for prospects. These successes come from the high performance techniques within hyperMILL, as well as robust postprocessors for nearly all machine and control combinations in the DMG Mori Seiki product portfolio. These postprocessors are written by OPEN MIND staff, ensuring process assurance including CAD and CAM steps. The postprocessors can activate advanced control functions to improve assurance of postprocessed code and reduce time and costs in many cases.
