Registration for the 2012 Esri Developer Summit Is Now Open

Share Ideas and Learn about Trends in Geospatial Technology Development

Redlands, California— January 18, 2012—Registration has begun for the 2012 Esri Developer Summit (DevSummit), which will take place March 26–29 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The summit offers a unique opportunity to get advice from Esri software architects, network with peers, and learn about the latest developments in GIS technology.

The Esri Developer Summit is an annual gathering of developers who want to do everything from plan large-scale GIS projects to create mapping applications and add mapping capabilities to existing applications. The DevSummit will feature deep-dive technical sessions and demonstrations of tools for adding geospatial intelligence to applications. Esri engineers will be available to help attendees troubleshoot issues and answer questions.

"Access to Esri staff is excellent, and if you have questions regarding Esri products, you can definitely find an individual, if not the actual staff engineer, to discuss your questions with," says Edna Donoughe, software engineer for Applied Sciences Associates and attendee of the 2011 Esri Developer Summit.

This year's summit will feature 20 percent more user presentations than last year, with developers from all over the world demonstrating project successes and best practices.

Early bird registration takes $100 off the registration fee and ends January 27. Standard registration ends February 24. Attendees also have the option to register on-site. In addition, Esri has arranged discounted room rates with hotels that are within walking distance of the Palm Springs Convention Center.
