Arvada, Colo. – November 28, 2011 – Pixxures, Inc., one of the nation's leading aerial imagery and geospatial firms, announced today it has added Kermit Lewis, LSP, to its Business Development Team. Mr. Lewis will provide business development and account management from Pixxures’ New Orleans office.

Mr. Lewis brings his extensive knowledge of geospatial programs to the Pixxures team in New Orleans, Louisiana. “We’re very excited to welcome Kermit to our staff,” says Peter Briere, General Manager of Pixxures. “Kermit’s understanding of both technical and management requirements will provide Pixxures a proven leader to support our customers in the Southeast.”

Mr. Lewis comes to Pixxures after 12 years at 3001, Inc., now Northrop Grumman, where he served as Account Manager, Project Manager, and Site Manager for Slidell Civil Works. He supported many state and federal customers during his tenure, including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, FEMA, U.S. Geological Survey and the State of Louisiana. 

Mr. Lewis is a Licensed Surveyor Photogrammetrist in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He holds Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Geography.
