Theorem Solutions announces further support for CATIA V5 R21

Theorem Solutions CADverter 14 product for CATIA V5 R21 now support Siemens NX 8 and the PTC Creo Suite of products.

These latest CATIA V5 R21 CADverters which include Theorem's popular Multi-CAD products improve performance and robustness for all users. Multi-CAD allows users to work interactively with native NX and Creo data CAD from within an active CATIA V5 design environment. The need to carry out external translations is no longer necessary and with 64Bit processing supported files can be as large and complex as required!

Multi-CAD for CATIA V5 R21 provides the user with the highest possible levels of interoperability with NX and Creo files and assemblies.

More traditional uni and bi-directional CADverters for NX and Creo are also available under this latest release.

CADverter 14.0 for CATIA V5 R21 is available to existing Theorem users with a current maintenance agreement, as well as to all new customers and unmaintained customers on attractive upgrade terms.

Theorem's commitment to keep pace with the latest releases of CATIA V5 is based on its use of application development utilities provided and supported by the Dassault Systemes themselves. This not only ensures parallel development of new CADverter products, but also completes compatibility with fast-evolving and increasingly capable product development systems found in CATIA V5.

Announcing the new series of CADverters for CATIA V5 R21, Theorem's Sales Director, Don Phillips said: "Many of our CATIA customers employ CADverters on 'mission critical' projects. Their ability to do so is sometimes dependent on the timely availability of robust interoperability products that match the rate at which they themselves update their CATIA systems. Our extensive pre-release testing confirms that CATIA V5 users will be able to implement to the latest Theorem CATIA V5 R21 CADverters with complete confidence and without interruption to existing interactive or batch interoperability processes."

About Theorem Solutions

Theorem Solutions is a long established World leading supplier of services and products that solve a range of engineering data problems for the design and manufacturing communities. Formed  in 1991, to address CAD data translation issues, Theorem has gone on to master this challenge and deliver cost saving solutions and consultancy to engineering and manufacturing OEMs and their suppliers throughout the world.

Theorem’s CADverter family of translators provide interoperability capabilities between all of the major CAD systems, providing a comprehensive exchange of data including geometry, attributes and product manufacturing information.

Partner to all major CAD vendors and with the use of vendor supported development environments Theorem’s CADverter products ensure that the data being processed conforms to the specific requirements of the various applications. In addition, as the vendors improve their respective propriety file formats, their supported development environments remove all risks associated with database changes and guarantee to keep pace with the changes they make.

Design, Engineering and Manufacturing companies use Theorem’s consultancy and products to automate and take cost out of collaborating with business partners and they range in complexity from one to one partnerships to solutions for supply chains with hundreds of companies.

As well as enabling interoperability between trading partners Theorem also provides process automation solutions that are used “in house” for tasks such as CAD data migration and long term archiving.  These save time and money by streamlining and eliminating the labour intensive tasks involved in translating and managing engineering and manufacturing data, help protect IP and also enable the capture and retention of skills which might otherwise be lost through employee mobility or retirement.
