October 21, 2011 -- Sandy, UT– Dates and location for the 2012 Cityworks User Conference were announced today by Cityworks, the leading provider of GIS-centric management solutions.   Returning to world-class outdoor and recreation destination Park City, Utah, the event will be held Wednesday, June 27 – Friday June 29, 2012 at the Canyons Conference Center, Park City.  Cityworks pre-conference training will take place Monday, June 25 - Tuesday, June 26, also held at the Canyons.

The 2012 Cityworks User Conference features Cityworks technical and application sessions, user case studies, vendor presentations, an exhibit hall, and Cityworks Doctor’s Office.  Pre-Conference training is available to new and existing users as well as specialized implementation training for Cityworks business partners.  Conference check-in and welcome reception will take place Tuesday evening.  A variety of recreational activities designed to take advantage of the beautiful mountain scenery will be held pre and post conference and will be announced at a later date.

“Our User Conference is a central event for Cityworks, one we look forward to each year with great anticipation,” states Brian Haslam, President of Cityworks. “We’re very excited about the conference returning to Park City area, the location of our conference proceedings. The Canyons Conference Center is truly a world-class destination – a place I'm sure our user community will enjoy. To me, the conference represents the highlight of my year where our customers, business partners and Cityworks staff from around the world gather in an informal setting to share their experience and exchange their knowledge.”

Having outgrown the original facility in Park City, the conference was held at Snowbird and St. George, Utah, the past three years.  Home to the Sundance Film Festival and 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic events, Park City has something to offer everyone from breathtaking mountain landscapes and an array of outdoor activities to a charming historic downtown and Main Street with restaurants, shopping and exciting nightlife.

The 2012 Cityworks User Conference will be held at the Canyons Grand Summit Conference Center ( www.canyonsresort.com).  Located 30 minutes from the Salt Lake International airport, the Canyons is easily accessed from Salt Lake City International Airport and only four miles from Park City's historic Main Street.  The property features five world-class hotels with spa and pool areas, restaurants and bars, and resort village.  Hiking, biking, gondola rides, and other activities offer incredible views of mountain peaks and wildlife. Discounted, affordable lodging rates will be available to conference attendees.
