Greenwich will implement the Browser-Based Version of FleetFocus
WAYNE, Pa. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — October 6, 2011 — AssetWorks, a leading provider of Fleet Management Software and Automated Fuel Management Systems, today announced that it has signed a contract to implement FleetFocus at the Town of Greenwich, Connecticut.
With a fleet of 500 units, the Town of Greenwich sought a comprehensive fleet management software solution that would be easier to use than their existing software and provide them with additional fleet management functionality. Greenwich also needed a system that could integrate seamlessly with NAPA’s Integrated Business Solution (NAPA IBS) which they use to manage their parts procurement. Greenwich carefully researched several fleet management software packages on the market. Based on their market research and recommendations within the local New York City region, Greenwich selected FleetFocus.
Greenwich will also take advantage of some FleetFocus’ optional functionality that can allow for increased communication of fleet data with customers, shop portals that provide an easy-to-use interface for technicians and supervisors on the shop floor, and dashboards that illustrate key performance indicators (KPIs) in graphical format. AssetWorks will also provide integration between FleetFocus and NAPA IBS for comprehensive parts inventory management which can save time in ordering and fulfilling parts requests, as well ease requisition, billing and reconciliation.
The Town of Greenwich procured FleetFocus through the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA). Focused on service and providing efficiency to their members, the NJPA provides the opportunity to purchase through nationally leveraged, competitively bid contracts that offer the very best products and services from nearly 100 industry-leading vendors. AssetWorks has been a partner with the NJPA since 2010.
“We are pleased to welcome the Town of Greenwich as a customer. Greenwich joins several AssetWorks customers in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Tri-State region including the County of Westchester, County of Nassau; County of Suffolk; and the City of Norwalk stated Carl Bruce, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, AssetWorks. “The fact that Greenwich selected AssetWorks in part because of customer recommendations in their local region is a testament to our dedication to building long-term partnerships with our customers.”
