Metro Washington D.C. Office Named International Headquarters

SILVER SPRING, Md., April 13, 2011 — (PRNewswire) — Manatron, Inc., a leader in providing integrated property tax and land administration software for governments worldwide,  announced today that it has established the office of recently acquired International Land Systems (ILS), Inc. as its international headquarters. Located in Silver Spring, Maryland – just north of Washington D.C. – ILS has provided land administration solutions in over 30 countries. Selecting ILS's Maryland office as a center for worldwide operations is a strategic step in Manatron's global expansion.

The office will be the company's primary site for business development, project management and training activities for its work internationally. This announcement is expected to improve the Manatron-ILS team's position as the worldwide leader in land and property information management and administration. Manatron's Portage, Mich.-based office will remain as the company's corporate headquarters.

"The announcement that Manatron will establish its international headquarters in Maryland is good news for our state," said Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley. "Maryland's strategic location, proximity to the federal government and access to world markets are significant assets for companies that are competing in today's global economy. We look forward to working with Manatron to help the company grow and thrive in Maryland."

Additionally, Manatron intends to utilize this location to better serve its existing client base in Maryland and Virginia providing localized support and product development.

"By identifying the DC Metro office as Manatron's international headquarters, we will be better able to serve governments and beneficiaries through international donor agencies such as USAID, MCC, EXIM, US Department of Commerce and the World Bank as well as our partners who work with us worldwide," said Manatron president and CEO Bill McKinzie. "Given ILS's extensive experience in the international development community, Maryland's highly educated workforce and close proximity to Washington, D.C., this office is the ideal location for pursuing future international business."
