Atmel Webinar on March 25 to Demonstrate New Standard in Touch Interface Design

Free one-hour webinar shows state-of-the-art, ease-of-use in touch interface design using Atmel's QTouch Studio 4.0 and Altium Designer offered by Altium to take concept-to-production faster than ever before

SAN JOSE, Calif., March 19 — (PRNewswire) — Atmel(R) Corporation (Nasdaq: ATML), a leader in microcontroller and touch solutions, today announced a webinar to demonstrate unmatched ease-of-use in touch interface design using Atmel's QTouch(R) Studio 4.0 tool, along with Altium Designer(R) 4.0, a software program offered by Altium. The free one-hour webinar entitled "Free & Easy: Introducing QTouch Studio 4.0" will be presented by Atmel's director of touch marketing Steve Berry and product marketing manager Arild Rodland on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 12 pm ET / 9 am PT. Click here to register for this online webinar.

This webinar explores the capabilities of QTouch Studio 4.0 and Altium Designer to easily overcome the challenges designers face when adding touch functionality to user interface applications and accelerating designs to production.

In this seminar, attendees will be walked through a typical touch interface design using the combination of QTouch Studio 4.0 and Altium Designer. Attendees will learn how to implement touch buttons, sliders and wheels in low-power applications employing Atmel's industry-leading AVR(R) microcontrollers. The webinar will also be immediately archived following the live webinar.
