Stars Show Out To Celebrate Filmmakers From Around The Globe At The 3rd Annual North Hollywood CineFest

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif., March 15, 2016 — (PRNewswire) — The North Hollywood (NoHo) CineFest will run March 18-24, 2016 at the Laemmle NoHo7 Theater, in the heart of the world famous "NoHo Arts District." This international film festival will showcase nearly ninety films over seven days and will be attended by celebrities, media, and filmmakers from around the globe. 

A number of celebrities are scheduled to attend the red carpet opening on March 18 from 7pm-10pm for the world premieres of The Lost Tree starring Thomas Ian Nicholas (American Pie), Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls) and Michael Madsen (The Hateful Eight) and EVOL: The Theory of Love starring Conor Donovan (The Departed), Matthew Lawrence (Melissa & Joey, Mrs. Doubtfire), and Aynsley Bubbico (Hart of Dixie, Greek).

Screenings include American Bred starring Academy Award Nominee Michael Lerner (Barton Fink,  X-Men: Days of Future Past, Godzilla) and the LA premiere of the comedic film The Life and Death of an Unhappily Married Man. Horror Night will be Monday, March 21, hosted by Ivonna Cadaver (Macabre Theatre). 

Tuesday, March 22, will feature all films with women directors and an industry panel with speakers such as DreamWorks Animation Studio Executive Amie Karp (The Croods, Kung Fu Panda 3) and writers Ali Liebegott (Transparent), Thomas Dean Donnelly (Marvel's Doctor Strange), and Lewaa Nasserdeen (The Real O'Neals, The Goldbergs) to name a few. More than $10,000 in production prizes will be presented to the festival award winners, courtesy of Birns & Sawyer.
