FORT COLLINS, Colo., Aug. 21, 2012 — (PRNewswire) — CartoPac® International, a leading supplier of Esri-based field asset data collection and utilization solutions, has announced two key management changes.

Carl Lee is stepping into the role of Chief Executive Officer. His top-level management experience is very extensive and includes serving as CFO and CEO of several high-tech companies.  He was a Management Consulting Partner at Ernst & Young where his focus was emerging and midsize technology companies.  As CFO he helped grow Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. from startup to a major business in the fiber channel switch market.  Carl played a key role in taking Brocade public in 1999.  Carl has worked with CartoPac since 2001 where he also serves as Chairman of the Board.

Brian Noyle has been selected as CartoPac's new Director of Development.  Brian is a highly-respected GIS solutions expert with ten years of experience in solutions development and architecture. His papers are frequently presented at Esri conferences around the world and he is well known for promoting and facilitating a closer integration between GIS teams and IT organizations.

"CartoPac's proven strength is in the mobile asset management arena," said Lee, "and our recent leadership changes will improve our focus there.   We are extremely pleased that Brian has decided to join our team."  CartoPac Mobile helps companies leverage their investment in GIS solutions into the mobile asset space.   Its field asset data collection workflows are based on oil & gas industry best practices while remaining easily configurable to meet the specific business need.

"This is a tremendous opportunity to contribute in an area of great interest to me," said Noyle.  "CartoPac's mobile technologies help companies achieve significant cost benefits in field asset data collection, in part because there is no programming or expensive customization  – it's all done with configuration tools.  My team will expand on this to develop more out-of-the-box solutions to address specific customer needs."
