PCI Geomatics Recognized for Exemplary Contribution to the Growth of the Canadian ICT Sector

Richmond Hill, Ontario —November 17, 2009— PCI Geomatics, a world leading developer of geo-imaging software and systems, is pleased to announce its support for the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC), a not-for-profit sector council that creates a diverse and highly educated Canadian ICT industry.

ICTC pushes for innovations that will provide standards, labour market intelligence, career pathways and immigration initiatives for the Canadian ICT industry, educators and governments forging partnerships that will help develop the quantity and quality of ICT professionals needed to maintain and improve Canada’s position as a leader in the global marketplace.

PCI Geomatics supports this initiative through taking part in ICTC’s Career Focus Program, a project that creates a work experience to help IT employers hire recent graduates.
