Geographic Technologies Group Welcomes GIS Projects Manager, Jason Knowles

September 25, 2008 -- GOLDSBORO, N.C. – Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG) announces the recent addition of Jason Knowles PhD, GIS Projects Manager, to their new Davie, Florida office.

Jason brings a wide variety of GIS experience, from municipal level consulting work to GIS emergency response work following Hurricane Katrina. He has designed and implemented many GIS systems and projects based on customer needs. Jason says that he is particularly interested in advanced public safety GIS solutions and enjoys being on the forefront of applied GIS technologies.

As a GIS Projects Manager, Jason will focus on the south and central region of Florida and is responsible for GIS implementation, technical support, and client services. He will be using ArcGIS Server technology to implement enterprise GIS systems to reduce redundancy and improve efficiency within local governments.
