concept3D to Provide Colliers Parrish International, Inc.(R) With 3-D Content for GIS Integration Within Google Earth(TM)

BOULDER, Colo., May 27 /PRNewswire/ -- concept3D ( http://www.concept3d.com) is pleased to announce that they have completed a project, on behalf of Colliers Parrish International, Inc. (CPI). The project includes modeling, photo-texturing and geo-referencing 12 of their buildings. concept3D will submit the buildings to the Google Earth Warehouse for the public's use.

Led by Corporate Director of Research, Doug Garcia, CPI has chosen to use 12 of its office buildings in Northern California and Nevada for the initial modeling project with concept3D. Presently, Garcia uses GIS to analyze best use and site location projects for clients, based on data such as traffic counts and demographics. The current undertaking however, is intended to move the company forward as a leader and trendsetter in leveraging 3-D content and GIS integration using the most powerful mapping tools publicly available -- Google Earth and Google Maps(TM).

In addition to providing a platform where brokers can collect, process and analyze data, Google Earth serves as an innovative vehicle for 3-D property exposure and visualization among the masses. Using the 3-D models created by concept3D, CPI will have the ability to virtually showcase their brand through a realistic and dynamic representation of each property. The commercial real estate company and public will also benefit from having open access to the photorealistic 3-D models as they reside in Google Earth. This is significant when considering other services, where brokers pay a comparable fee for limited use of static photographic images.

Doug Garcia comments, "Commercial development firms who learn how to harness and leverage the potential of the geo-web are the companies that will remain ahead of the competition and continue to innovate new and intelligent ways of presenting and locating their properties within the world."

concept3D recognizes the logical applications and extensions that Google Earth and Google Maps offer for commercial developers. According to company CEO & Co-Founder, Oliver Davis, "We continue to focus our efforts around developing new 3-D applications for the geo-web, that will result in a valuable offering for commercial developers and an improved search experience. What better market than commercial real estate to leverage the power of new 2-D and 3-D mapping tools. Using the geo-web/Google Earth, Colliers is driving innovation to better serve their clients and brokers."
