Blue Marble Geographics will present the latest features of Global Mapper v21 in a free live webinar on October 3
 
Hallowell, Maine – September 26, 2019 – Blue Marble Geographics will conduct a live webinar to introduce the new features and functions of Global Mapper v21  Ì¶  the latest release of its GIS software. Scheduled for October 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern U.S. Time, this one-hour webinar will introduce the new MangoMap extension for publishing online maps; a new keyframe animation feature for visualizing change over time; a new tool for finding peaks and depressions in a terrain layer; and much more

“This release has generated a lot of excitement and buzz. And it is justified,” stated Blue Marble’s President Patrick Cunningham. “There are really big new features such as the Mango extension and the mobile app updates, and there are more sublte yet important features like improvements to labeling and new animation features. I am proud of the work of our team. I know our customers will benefit greatly with this release.”
 
The release of Global Mapper v21 in mid-September was one of the most significant in Blue Marble’s history. It introduced the company’s partnership with the web map service company MangoMap, which provides users with the ability to publish web maps directly from Global Mapper. In addition to this partnership announcement, version 21 was released concurrently with Global Mapper Mobile 2.0, as well as a new version of the LiDAR Module with improved photogrammetric and point cloud classification tools.
