Robotized Chooses ModuleWorks Laser Aided Manufacturing

Dec 2, 2016 -- Robotized delivers customized CAD/CAM solutions for robotics and NC production processes. To extend its solutions portfolio, Robotized has chosen ModuleWorks software components for Laser Aided Manufacturing.

The ModuleWorks Laser Aided Manufacturing components offer automated toolpath calculation, trimming and collision avoidance for single layer and multi-layer applications. The user interface is easy to use and the high degree of automation means that toolpath parameters are calculated and set automatically by the software, which speeds up the manufacturing process and improves the quality of the finished product. Intelligent features such as 3D smart protection for containment curves and drive curves as well as automatic 5-Axis tool inclination further optimize performance and accuracy. ModuleWorks and Robotized worked together to develop the features based on the needs of end users.

ModuleWorks and Robotized have enjoyed a successful partnership since Robotized was formed in 2014. As Norbert Krach, Managing Director of Robotized explains “Because of our already successful cooperation, ModuleWorks components were the obvious choice for our Laser Aided Manufacturing solution. Flexible and fast integration of the components enables us to offer industry-leading, cost-effective turn-key solutions for Laser Aided Manufacturing that give our customers a competitive advantage.”

Yavuz Murtezaoglu, Managing Director of ModuleWorks adds, “The Laser Aided Manufacturing components bring the benefits of our proven core technology to yet another application area and it is very rewarding to contribute to the growing success of our partners.”
