The New Solution for Collaborative Optimization: ESTECO ENTERPRISE Suite

The innovative package, combining modeFRONTIER 4.5 desktop capabilities with SOMO distributed execution framework, presented this week at Nafems World Congress

June 13, 2013 - ESTECO Enterprise Suite (EES), the new software solution for collaborative optimization and distributed execution, has been presented this week in Salzburg at Nafems World Congress 2013. EES combines the advanced capabilities of modeFRONTIER® new version 4.5 with SOMO, by pairing the widely used multi-objective and multidisciplinary optimization platform with the new collaborative framework for distributed execution developed by ESTECO . Together, they support companies in reaching a better control over the design of complex systems enabling an effective organization of the access, versioning and transfer of simulation data.

EES extends the familiar modeFRONTIER® desktop paradigm to a web-based collaborative environment and empowers geographically dispersed design teams with a sharing platform for models, workflows, simulations, optimizations and results. While rationally exploiting computing resources on HPCs or cloud environments, design teams benefit from pooling multiple competencies and skills and build consistent multidisciplinary projects.

COLLABORATION: FOCUS ON YOUR EXPERTISE

Domain experts, optimization and integration specialists and decision makers join forces to build advanced multidisciplinary optimization (MDO) projects, reaching a better control over the design of complex systems.

SHARED KNOWLEDGE: PROTECT COMPANY IP

Intangible assets are the key to design innovation: EES supports engineering departments in preserving and valuably re-using the knowledge acquired in years. Single specialists’ experience and skills are transferred to a wisely structured database, protecting companies’ intellectual property while growing into shared knowledge.

ACCESS ANYTIME AND ANYWHERE

The more teams rely on connected framework to harmonize their work the more design cycles get shorter. EES allows for rapid access and processing of simulation data and results: from anywhere, anytime.

MAXIMIZE EFFICIENCY OF COMPUTATIONAL RESOURCES

The intelligent Queue Manager included in EES automatically arranges calculation nodes workloads for a secure and monitored distributed computation structure.
