February 23, 2012 - The first-ever IMTS 2012 Rally Fighter Graphic CarSkin Competition has reached the voting stage.  Votes for the 32 entries can be made through March 1 at http://www.local-motors.com/imts.

Participants can cast a "Design" vote based on personal preference and a "Fits Competition Brief" vote refers to how well the design entry fits the requirements listed in the Competition Brief.

The winner will be announced Monday, March 5.

Background:

IMTS – The International Manufacturing Technology Show 2012, show management has teamed up with Local Motors to showcase two Rally Fighters at IMTS Sept. 10-15 in Chicago.

One will be built at Local Motors’ micro-factory in Chandler, Ariz., the other will be built LIVE on the actual IMTS show floor!

The winning skin from this competition will be installed on the Rally Fighter IMTS is building in our micro-factory this spring, and will be seen all over the country as that Rally Fighter will travel to various events on its way to IMTS in September.
